earliest turns.

december 13th, 2007.

the earliest point in the season i have ever had turns on snow.

conditions weren’t that great, pretty hard actually. we got hammered last weekend with snow in town, and at the mountain (7 miles away) they got 4+ feet. for some reason, the resort decided to groom the heck out of the trails and it was packed hard, not so much fun. and to boot, all the ya-hoo’s from phoenix decided to show up around 930a and the places was crawling with posers. when i left at 1130a, there were probably 200-250 people in line waiting for an old school, super-slow triple chair lift.

but this pic was worth the price of admission. it was taken at 11,500 feet at the top of the agassiz chair lift where on a clear day, you can see all the way to the grand canyon. enjoy.

super high toilet.

super high view.
